Gingerbread House Decorating at Coal Harbour Community Centre

We're eager to get into the Christmas Spirit so we signed up for the gingerbread house decorating at the Coal Harbour Community Centre.

Last year we made gingerbread domes instead of gingerbread houses, and we did everything from scratch.  I'm not sure how they would have pulled off the logistics of making them from scratch here, and certainly not in 2 hours, but I was surprised to see this when we arrived:

Kind of funny, right? Oh well, it was still really awesome.  As far as kits go, this one was the cream of the crop, too :)

We had a seriously good time decorating our house, and I was shocked at how excited and involved Aias was this year!

Gingerbread approved
Taking it very seriously
Partway through
I was SHOCKED he didn't try and eat any of these candies
Tada!
Back at home, we let him do what he wanted with the tree.  Shockingly it has lasted (so far!)
This was fun and we will do it again next year for sure.

In general if you are willing to put your name to something, I'll post it, but remember to keep your words sweet, because someday you may have to eat them.
