Aias and the Giant Rugelach

This is a poppy seed rugelach.  It's about an inch and a half long and maybe an inch tall.  It's also Aias's favorite treat.

Not my picture, but a pretty accurate picture.
The other day we went to the bakery up the street to get a half dozen or so.  Normally he can handle about 2-3 of these in a day.  Aias was really excited to get his rugelach.  When we got there, the baker informed us that there wouldn't be any more rugelach until tomorrow.  Aias had a look around at the various cookies, cakes, and treats but didn't want any of them.

On our way out, we saw a giant poppy seed loaf in the window.  Aias told me it was the "rugelach's mommy" and that he wanted it.

So I said, "oh sure, why not?"

Don't worry, he didn't eat the whole thing. He mostly ate off the delicious poppy seed ends and his dad took care of the rest.  It was still pretty funny to see him try.
