Reading 101: Skimming and Picture Viewing

Just a friendly notice to everyone here on this fabulous place we call the Internet.  If you are going to post about an article, you should try to read the article first.  I know the pictures, captions, and titles are sometimes more interesting, alas... you run the risk of coming across as slightly ignorant if you don't actually read something you claimed to have read. It looks even worse if you describe the article as something entirely different than what it is, and then publicly post a false description of the article.

An example of this I remember from University was when someone pretended they read Romeo and Juliet, but they actually just saw the Baz Luhrmann rendition.  In class when asked about Mercutio, they described him as an African American cross dresser with a fancy car.   It was awkward for everyone. Seriously Internet, don't be that person.

She is that person.
In case you wanna check it out.

I couldn't help myself.

Oh, and here's the article in question.  Let me know where you see the part about me raising Aias as a cross dresser.

I've adopted the same commenting policy as seen here at Off Beat Mama ( I won't post comments if they strike me as attacking, judgmental, rude, or unproductive. In general if you are willing to put your name to something, I'll post it, but remember to keep your words sweet, because someday you may have to eat them.
