Aias at the Granville Island Water Park

I'm not sure what these little sprinkler parks are officially called (spray parks?), but we have them all over the city. This one happens to be at the Granville Island Water Park. As far as I'm concerned, whatever they are called, they are the best thing EVER for a hot sunny day. Basically it's all the fun of playing with water without any of the drowning concern. I brought Aias to one of them last year (Stanley Park) and he was only minimally interested in crawling through the water. This year, however, it was EVERYTHING I hoped it would be. I have a feeling we'll be stopping by one of these a few days a week this summer. Why pay to get into a public pool when you can go to one of these for free?

  2. This looks like so much fun! We have at least one of these parks that I know of and it's right by my house. I think I'm going to wait until my little guy is walking because I think he'll have more fun. But I can't wait!

Thanks for stopping by my blog from the SSS blog hop! I am following you back!

I've adopted the same commenting policy as seen here at Off Beat Mama (http://offbeatmama.com/about/comments). I won't post comments if they strike me as attacking, judgmental, rude, or unproductive. In general if you are willing to put your name to something, I'll post it, but remember to keep your words sweet, because someday you may have to eat them.
