How to Add Blogs You Love to Your Livejournal Friends List!

I'm super pumped about this! You guys can now add Aias Dot Ca to your Livejournal Friend's list!
Simply go here and add this account to your friend's list:

Adding this does not give me or anyone else access to your Friends Only entries, FYI.

Do you have a blog and you want people to be able to add your blog to their friends list?  Is there a blog you love to read, it has an RSS feed, and you want to add it to your friends list? I'll explain how.

First you go here:

http://www.livejournal.com/syn/

On this page you can access blogs that have already been syndicated.  If the blog you want to view does not already have a syndicated feed on Livejournal, you can scroll down to the bottom and add the RSS feed to the box that says "Add Feed By URL." Note that only paid accounts can add a new feed.

Once you've added your feed, voila!

I think this is a great way to keep up with your favorite blogs, but I'd suggest leaving comments on the ACTUAL blog instead of on the LJ Syndication page, only because that benefits the blogger more.

I love the picture you used for your button - your baby is adorable.

  2. I can't get this to work.
There isn't an option to search through the feeds and it tells me the account name is invalid when I try to add it.

Do you mean you can't add yours or can't add the AiasDotCom one?

If you mean adding yours, make sure you put in your Feed Burner RSS feed, not your blog URL. If you mean Aias's, I'm not sure, it worked for me and 5 other people have added so I'm not sure =/

I've adopted the same commenting policy as seen here at Off Beat Mama (http://offbeatmama.com/about/comments). I won't post comments if they strike me as attacking, judgmental, rude, or unproductive. In general if you are willing to put your name to something, I'll post it, but remember to keep your words sweet, because someday you may have to eat them.
