2 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days

I'm terrible at updating this.

Things have been very good in the world of Aias; he's definitely keeping both his mommy and daddy busy.  Since I last posted, Aias has made tons of developments.  I'm going to do a few lists here, just because I want to remember these things.

His developments include:
  • He now can deliberately put both his hands in his mouth about 80% of the time
  • He can grab at his toys and bring them to his mouth with both hands
  • He can flip the pages of his plastic book to see the pages underneath
  • He can jingle his rattle
  • He can say "agwa" (we have NO idea what this means, but he says it a lot)
  • He can babble like WHOA... seriously, he's always babbling about SOMETHING
  • He can laugh!  We love this.  Morgan cracks him up by making farting noises
  • He can roll onto either side, and can ALMOST roll over deliberately.  He's about 80% there; his arm is in the way, haha.  It really ticks him off!
He's starting to look like a little person too, instead of just a little gnome.

Here are some things that he loves:
  • His flower toy from Auntie Heidi, Uncle Trevor, and Cousin Sierra
  • His wooden toy from Mommy and Daddy
  • His chicken toy from Mommy and Daddy
  • His V-Tech Laptop from Grampa and Pat
  • His stroller from Grandpa and Grandma Dalman
  • Monsieur's fur (courtesy of Monsier)
  • His bouncer from Aunti Heidi, Uncle Trevor, and Cousin Sierra
  • His Christmas Tree Book from Auntie Rosie and Cousin Dallas
  • Being naked
  • Taking showers and baths
  • Being talked to and sung to
  • Listening to Journey and George Michael and dance music
  • Smelling our food when we put it up to his nose
  • When Auntie Rosie visits
  • Boobs
  • His Bummis
Here are some things that he hates:
  • When I laugh when he's sleeping on me and it scares him
  • The Moby Wrap (it gets too hot)
  • When he can't roll over his arm
  • Sleeping alone
  • When Monsieur licks him TOO much
  • Getting the hiccups
  • When he misses his nap, or when I wait too long to take him out on his walk
  • When I drink Caffeine (so I don't anymore, tragically)
  • Being on his tummy
  • Being too warm
  • When his hat goes over his eyes

I've adopted the same commenting policy as seen here at Off Beat Mama (http://offbeatmama.com/about/comments). I won't post comments if they strike me as attacking, judgmental, rude, or unproductive. In general if you are willing to put your name to something, I'll post it, but remember to keep your words sweet, because someday you may have to eat them.
